- Dean Lewis is an Australian singer-songwriter from Sydney. His first single 'Waves', peaked at number 12 on the Australian ARIA Charts and was certified 3 x platinum In November 2017. Waves reached number 1 in the US iTunes singer songwriter charts in September 2017, with the acoustic version reaching number 3. The song featured prominently in 3 US TV shows, episode 10 season 7 of “Suits” as well as “Riverdale” episode 4 season 1 and “Shadow Hunters”. Waves and Lewis’ single Lose My Mind has also been featured on several Television dramas in Australia, Brazil and the UK. Lewis released his debut extended play Same Kind of Different on 12 May 2017 and in October 2017 scored five Aria Award nominations, four for his single “Waves” and one for “Lose My Mind” which was certified gold in November 2017. He has written, recorded and toured through the USA, UK, Europe and Australia. Picking up a guitar at a young age he started writing songs soon after and eventually self funded a number of recordings before being discovered and signed to a development and publishing deal by Specific Music principals and industry veterans Leonie and Robert Conley. He is managed by Cathy Oates of Original Matters Management and signed to Universal Music, Island Records and to Specific Music / Kobalt Music for publishing.
